On 13 February 2013, the Journal of Laws of the Republic of Poland published Regulation of the National Broadcasting Council of 5 February 2013 on the detailed rules of protecting minors in on-demand audiovisual media services (Journal of Laws item 209).The Regulation lays down the conditions and label types for programmes according to the degree of their harmful impact on the development of minors as well as specimen of graphic symbols which should be used to label the programmes.

The National Broadcasting Council has published a regulation amending the regulation specifying the essential information of a licence application and the detailed procedure for awarding or revoking broadcasting licences.This amendment is aimed at aligning the document to the legal regulations that have recently changed.

The “Course of action of the National Broadcasting Council with regard to European policy and foreign cooperation for the years 2011-2013” has been developed by the Strategy Department of the Council Office. The publication contains amongst others information on the strategic international activity of the Council, the proposed courses of action, organisation of the Council’s international activity as well as the major Council’s achievements in the field of international cooperation.
