			<description>On 16 July 2018, the National Broadcasting Council signed a contract with the National Institute of Telecommunications for the measurement of TV audiences based on RPD data analysis (return path data – data from the cable or satellite set-top boxes sent via the return path from the box to the operator). </description>

			<description>Hereby we inform that the National Broadcasting Council has adopted a resolution on imposing a fine on TVN SA, the broadcaster of the TVN 24 programme service, basing on a thorough and long-term analysis of six television channels.</description>

			<description>On the 14th of June this year, the NBC was pleased to host members of the management board of WorldDab. During sessions, a now-traditional overview of the situation of DAB in Europe and worldwide was presented, and issues relating to poor reception of DAB signals in certain marks of automobiles was discussed, along with methods of alleviating this problem.</description>

			<description>On the 22nd of June 2017, the Polish Sejm accepted the Annual Report of the National Broadcasting Council for 2016. 434 members of parliament took part in the voting, with 224 voting in favour of acceptance, 206 against, and 4 abstentions.</description>

			<description>Since January of 2017, the NBC has noted an increase in the number of registered subscribers. As of the 30th of April 2017, 6.9 million subscribers had registered radio and television receivers, including 3.5 subscribers whose fees have been waived. Of the remaining 3.4 million, 1.4 million subscribers paid subscription fees in a timely manner. </description>

			<description>The NBC, in accordance with the provisions of the Broadcasting Act, Article 16b, paragraph 3a, monitored the contents of advertisements broadcast on channels catering to children and on universal appeal channels during broadcasts aimed at children in terms of the proper application by broadcasters of the terms of the Agreement on limiting advertisements and sponsorships concerning food and beverages containing components which are not advisable in excessive amounts in the diet of children.</description>

			<description>In accordance with the Broadcasting Act dated 31 March 2017, the National Broadcasting Council presented to the Sejm, the Senate, and the President of the Republic of Poland an Annual Report on activities for 2016, as well as a document outlining information on the basic problems of radio and television broadcasting. These documents were also submitted to the Prime Minister and chairpersons of the relevant Sejm and Senate committees.</description>
