European Commission’s decision from 21 November 2014 on Polish list of major events was published on the 3rd of February 2015 in the Official Journal of European Union. In accordance with article 14 paragraph 2 of the Audiovisual Media Services Directive 2010/13/UE the list was notified to the European Commission. Publication in the Official Journal is the last stage of the EU legal order.

From 1 January 2015, auditions for children aged up to 12 years, issued by the eight largest television broadcaster in Poland, will not be accompanied by advertisements of “unhealthy food”. It is a result of an agreement signed by: ITI Neovision Poland, Polsat TV, TVP, TV Puls, TVN, VIMN Poland, The Walt Disney Company (Polska) and Stavka company.

On 21 November 2014 European Commission accepted a decision on Polish list of major events. The decision will shortly be published in the Official Journal of the European Union.
